Uljha Jiya Teri Baaton Mein Aisa – Since this isn't a period piece, we're not sure why it has such a 1960s-sounding title. In the near future shown in the movie, robots will likely become commonplace objects similar to smartphones. Shahid Kapoor's character Aryan is a gifted computer programmer with a focus on robotics. He works at a tech company owned by his mausi Urmila (Dimple Kapadia), which specialises in building cutting-edge robotics. In addition, he has a fear of commitment and is reluctant to get married as he hasn't found a suitable wife.
Really, it's difficult to comprehend why Aryan falls in love with a robot. He's a smart, attractive, athletic Punjabi lad who's not just a computer engineer but also a himbo. How come he can't find a real girl to date? That is not revealed in the movie. What it offers us is a sequence of jokes that begin as lighthearted fun and gradually shift towards the tone of Carrie (1976).
The filmmakers have brought to life the ideal sanskari, wealthy Punjabi family, whose members enjoy evening drinks together and show affection for one another. SIFRA is exactly the bahu they are looking for, therefore we're confident it was unnecessary to keep her origins a secret when they were getting what they really wanted.
The two leads' performances save the ridiculous plot of the movie from falling apart. Comedy is not new to Shahid Kapoor, who brings his A-game here, spitting out lines with perfect timing and laying the groundwork for his co-stars to carry the joke. He also performs other dances that highlight his exceptional dancing skills. He has a great rapport with Kriti Sanon, who mimics all of his moves on the dance floor.
