Box Office for Bade Miyan Chote Miyan: Tiger Shroff & Akshay Kumar's Paycheck Is 125% Higher Than Total Earnings, Expecting Loss of Over 280 Crore?

Nobody could have predicted that Bade Miyan Chote Miyan would suffer such a terrible end when it was revealed that Akshay Kumar and Ali Abbas Zafar were teaming up to create a huge action movie. With two of the biggest action actors from two distinct generations working together on what was billed as the most expensive action movie ever made in India, really, what could go wrong?

However, it would be reasonable to examine what specifically went wrong with the movie now that 17 days have passed since the bombing of the movie. If one wishes to attribute the main cause to Maidaan's Eid clash, then there was obviously no impact.

After earning around 59 crore in just 17 days, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan is expected to total between 60 and 62 crore by the time it is all said and done. Had everything gone according to plan, the movie would have been hailed as a huge hit that would have brought in another 350+ crores for Bollywood.

Aiming for a Loss of 280 Crores!

According to rumours, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan is reportedly being produced on an enormous budget of over 350 crore. Given these figures, the movie is on track to lose close to 280 crore, which would be devastating for a business that is only now emerging from COVID-19's protracted hibernation.

Paychecks of Tiger Shroff & Akshay Kumar Are 125% Higher

Interestingly, assuming the estimated receipts for the movie are accurate, the combined enormous salaries of Tiger Shroff and Akshay Kumar are about 125% more than the film's catastrophic box office receipts. For the action film, the stars are said to have received a combined salary of almost 135 crore.
